TSW is dedicated to enhancing the level of knowledge about forensic science throughout the Western Australian community and assisting school students with demystifying the pathway into a career in science. To help achieve this, TSW Analytical has developed a workshop “Catch Me If You Can”, which is taught by our scientists in your school. The initial program, run in November 2011 at Warwick Senior High in Perth’s northern suburbs was a raging success. Students undertook a morning program in which they were exposed to three areas of forensics: entomology, anthropology and chemistry.

Several programs have been developed to tie directly into the current curriculum, so teachers can adapt the workshop to current learnings.
